Packing for Camp

This is a general packing list. If anything changes, you will be informed in your confirmation package following camp registration.

  • WATER BOTTLE
  • Long pants and shorts
  • Sweatshirt and sweater
  • Modest swim suits
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Toiletries
  • Hat and sun screen
  • Raincoat and boots
  • Non-aerosol insect repellent (less than 10% DEET)
  • Long-sleeved shirt and T-shirts
  • Jacket
  • Pajamas and underwear
  • Towels
  • Flashlight
  • Bible
  • Running shoes and socks
  • Bug nets are available in the tuck shops for hanging over your child’s bed ($20)

 

Optional:

  • Camera
  • Fitted sheet
  • Masks

 

Please leave the following at home:

  • All electronic games, players, entertainment and communication devices (i.e. cell phones, iPods, iPads, etc.)
  • Knives
  • Valuables (i.e. Jewelry)
  • Alcoholic beverages or narcotics
  • other expensive or potentially harmful items

Please note that the use of tobacco, alcoholic beverages, or narcotics is prohibited and will be treated as a serious offense. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.

 

Food Parcels:

  • No food is allowed in chalets because of the potential problem of attracting animals, so please do not send or bring large food parcels to camp.
  • No nuts or peanut products please due to the possibility of allergic reaction in others.

Please label all belongings.

 

Transportation to and from Camp

 
A camp bus option is available for an extra cost of $90 (+HST) for certain weeks of the summer: Sessions 1,3,5, & 7 – north or southbound. You can choose this option when you register. The drop off and pick up location is in Vaughan, off Highways 400 and 7. Limited seats available. Call the camp office for more details at 1-800-361-CAMP.

 

There is no airport service to or from camp in 2024. Please contact the main office for other options.

Transportation To & From Camp

 

Find information on special round-trip transportation from the Toronto area. We have bussing available from SAIL (Hwy 400 and 7) as well as from Pearson International Airport.
