Pioneer Camp in Ontario

Pioneer Camp is a home away from home for our summer campers and an adventurous getaway for schools & groups year-round. Our well established facility includes three distinct sites. We can accommodate overnight or day groups of up to 200 people.

Rentals are available from September to June.

The Lodge Site (Adventure Camp)

This is our largest available site, holding a maximum of 123 guests. This site has two buildings, four meeting spaces and a large dining hall. The accommodations are dorm-style bedrooms with three-piece en suite washrooms.

The Clearwater Site

The Clearwater Site features two buildings, a private dining hall, and one large meeting space holding a maximum of 100 guests. The accommodations are dorm-style bedrooms with three-piece ensuite washrooms. The site includes a beach volleyball court, a full size basketball court, sports and recreational equipment, tuck shop and waterfront access.

The Clearwater site is available on a fully-catered or self-catered basis.

Lakeview and Meadowlands Buildings

Leadership Centre

The Leadership Centre houses the dining hall and meeting rooms for the Clearwater Site with a large fireplace and extensive deck. Groups between 50 and 250 will enjoy this flexible and comfortable space.

Cedarwood Site

Cedarwood is closed for the season, rentals available starting Spring 2022

This large, rustic getaway is perfect for family reunions and small group gatherings. With a retro 80s vibe, you are sure to feel at home and be relaxing in no time. The self-serve kitchen is newly updated and is ideal for serving large meals. Two large living areas and a spacious dining room provides lots of space for children and families to relax. This affordable getaway sleeps up to 26 people, with 6 bedrooms on the upstairs floor including one large bedroom (sleeps 8) and 5 rooms with bunkbeds and some double beds (each sleeps 2-4 people). Guests are responsible to provide their own food and bedding. Perfect for family reunions, small Bible study groups or friends who just want to escape the city for the weekend.

Come and get-away at Pioneer Camp for a weekend retreat. Located just down the road from our main lodge site, it is a close walk to camp, where you can schedule some activities to enhance your weekend experience (additional costs may apply). This is a cozy, cottage-like environment housing a maximum of 28 guests. It offers a more intimate setting and is an ideal location for smaller group retreats, youth retreats, meetings and family functions.

Cedarwood is available on a fully-catered or self-catered basis.
